From seed, Bandit Leek, Johnny's
Started inside: 3/4/12, 4 seeds per cell, 5 cells. Some dried out, needs lots of watering.
Transplanted 5/18/12, approx 6 inch spacing between plants. Two rows, approx 10 plants each.
Still have seeds left.
Tips for next year:
Plant only 1 or 2 seeds per cell, or plant in large flat without cells.
Start earlier, need warmth, and let them get slightly bigger/stronger before transplanting.
Supposed to dig deep (6 inch) holes/rows to put them in, and continue to hill them up.
