Onions

From seed:
Walla Walla from High Mowing (1 yr old), and Yellow Cortland from Johnny's (have seeds left).
Started inside: 3/4/12, 6 to 8 seeds per cell.
Decent germination, but tend to dry out and many died from lack of water. Can do in a large, flat bed (not separate cells) and then pull apart.  Pulled apart single plants gently and planted individually every 6 inches.

Purchased 30 onion starts from Jerico Settler's Farm - planted 5/27/12.  Mix of Walla Walla and Storage.  Pulled apart single plants and planted every 6 inches.

Tips for next year:
Water seedlings more
